The prettiest, most alluring female I ever knew was named Rebecca Fox. She was dark-complected, had shoulder-length chocolate-brown hair, and a youthful, curvaceous figure. I knew the aptly-named Ms. Fox for just one year, but I was smitten. She was given to wearing actual flowers in her hair, simple cotton dresses, and a ruby pendant on a gold chain around her beautiful neck. I would stare across the room at her, transfixed. Today, I sigh when I remember my passion. Rebecca Fox was a classmate of mine in the second grade, and was all of seven years old.
