Years ago back in schooldays I found that history was for me. I lived it and to me the Ottomans became my favourite subject. Even with time long gone those where magic days and still are. I never thought I'd be telling my story here on a blog, yet these days It sounds disgusting, yet what I say is so, so sad but it's true. I hope it doesn't offend you, but it is for real. By the way the illustrations of JEAN LEON GEROME and FABIO FABBI are said to be true along with many others like them who were picturing naked females for vile Ottoman men. How can they do such a thing in the Ottoman Empire wherefemales are sold as sex slaves to serve in harems?

The years of the rich Ottomans have long gone away
yet back in those greedy days the wealthy ones would play
into their harems where scared slaves girls just cried
in to the hands of Empires men ensuring girls clothing had 'died'

Moreover those sad girls didn't even own their pretty head-hair  
when at the Constantinople Market being sold totally bare 
then later in their new lives inside the Sultan's palace together
they looked like happy nudists, yet in reality just slaves forever  

Then there's the dejected eunuchs, those castrated men serving
 the white girls in that Sultan's palace doing nothing but observing
What the hell was going on in that harem of stripped females
and the downcast of neutered half-men called by some as males?    

How did this come about given that young girls had a family home
although it maybe some old village and certainly not in Rome? 
yet those parents got their money selling daughters to Kizlar Agha
who took them across the hot sands to the marketplace in the raw
 
It is a shame that those sweet girls couldn't go to Paris this very day
staying completely naked making ready money and never have to pray
a pity that didn't happen back in those years now-long and gone
for me, I think of them and how they suffered every break of dawn
