Hi everyone, it’s Robbie Cheadle here with you today with my October post in the People Photography section on LatinosUSA – English Edition. This month I am featuring photographs of People and animals dressed up.

I’ve decided to include the next four weeks of themes in each post so readers have more time to contribute to each theme.

Halloween – 30 October – Jackpot post – Anything Halloween related

War – 6 November – Animals used for war purposes: horses, mules and donkeys, camels, oxen, elephants, pigeons, dogs, bats, dolphins and sea lions, rats, bees, and cats.

We don’t celebrate Halloween in South Africa. The photographs below are of my sons dressed up for various parties or just because they liked dressing up when they were small.

People, dogs, and Leonbergers in costumes and birthdays by Thomas Wikman

Thomas Wikman has two wonderful blogs. The first, https://leonbergerlife.com/, features amusing and heartwarming stories about his late Leonberger dog Bronco, as well as other Leonbergers. Thomas’s second blog, https://superfactful.com/, aims  to create a long list of facts that are important, not trivia, and that are known to be true yet are either disputed by large segments of the public or highly surprising or misunderstood by many.

Thomas is a dog lover and I enjoyed his special book about his Leonberger which also includes entertaining stories about his other dogs. I love all animals so his blog is a must read for me.

Dogs in hats

The following adorable photographs are of Thomas’ dogs as follows: Bronco, a Leonberger, Rollo, mini-Australian Shepherd, and Daisy, pug.

«When I visited Liverpool, it was close to Halloween. I was in a creepy old graveyard behind a church when this little dog came running through the cemetery dressed as a bat. It was so cute. 

My son and his wife dressed their pug Lola in a bat costume one year.

They also dressed Lola’s friend as a shark! «
