you left me off guard,
with wounds that run deep.
a heart shattered and scarred,
from promises you couldn’t keep.

i’m left feeling lost and alone,
wondering where i went wrong.
the pain cuts to the bone,
leaving me singing a sorrowful song.

but i’ll rise from the ashes,
Stronger than before.
i won’t be weighed down by lashes,
i’ll pick myself up off the floor.

i’ll rebuild my shattered heart,
piece by fragile piece.
and though we may be apart,
i’ll find inner peace.

so thank you for leaving me off guard,
for teaching me to stand tall.
i’ll rise above the pain that scarred,
and embrace a new beginning with open arms after all.

The real reason behind
It’s not for me, oh no
Dearly I’m sorry but I’m being kind

Promises are meant to be broken
Just wait and see
The sacrifice is my golden token
For our love that is meant to be

I’m back to you now
I’m yours until the end
No matter the distance from thou
Past is past, we have to mend

You rebuild your shattered heart
And in my absence, you found strength
Look how you become
You found peace from within the reasonable length

So hear me out
I left you for you to become strong
And yes you did, I have no doubt
I beg you for all I did wrong

The pain
The scars
I felt it all
From afar
It hurts like hell
To me as well

If you can welcome me back
Once again for us
To rekindle the love
That once was lost
You’re still the one for me, the most.
