«Unrequited Love» by Bianca Alina

My lips are bloodstained and bruised,
for I have bitten too deeply into the tender flesh of hope,
drinking the poison of my own undoing.
I loved you to the point of agony.
I sought you in every beautiful thing I touched, whispering my devotion,
while you heard only the echoes of your unhealed wounds.
