It's All Transcedental by Selma Martin

Little bell, little bell
In the middle of the day
You made me pause for a moment
Just to listen

And in the pause I found my joy
Fired me up—made me whole
Showed me the miracle
That in my day had been missing

Had you not beckoned to my senses
To take this moment from the present
This day would have passed me unawares
And not been quite so transcendental

Now there’s a skip in my step
A smile where one had been missing
And by golly—today is Monday
Will you come again, just to remind me, little bell?
