Hi everyone, it’s Robbie Cheadle here with you today with the first post in my new Photography section on LatinosUSA – English Edition.
The Photography Section will comprise a weekly photography post with a weekly theme as follows:
First week of the month – Animals
Second week of the month – People
Third week of the month – Nature
Fourth week of the month – Buildings and Architecture.
If there is a fifth week, we will have a jackpot photography post.
I would love all the photographers out there to contribute to this section. If you have a photograph to share in one of these categories, please email me at cheadlerobbie@gmail.com and use the title Photography – [specific theme]. Please also include a short write up about your photograph.
Leopard
I am kicking of this series with one of my own animal photographs. The photograph of the leopard below was taken at Sabi Sand Nature Reserve in South Africa. It is easy to tell this is a male as they are bigger and heavier than the females. Leopards are solitary creatures who only meet up to mate. The females raise their cubs alone.
The large male was walking nonchalantly down the road. We had to stop as animals have the right of way in the game reserves. Of course, we were delighted to have this rare sighting and were happy to wait until he’d disappeared out of sight.

I enjoy messing about with black and white with certain photographs. This is the same picture in Noir. What do you think of it? Let me know if the comments which one you prefer.

Gorgeous Dog
I am very excited to have received my first submission for this theme.
This gorgeous dog photograph was contributed by Nicole Sara. This is what Nicole says about this photograph:
Meet Turuz, a very cute but also elegant dog. In spite of the fact that he usually jumps around quite a lot, I managed to take this photo of him in the country one sunny winter day. He was at a distance, but was looking at me while I was trying to zoom in and photograph something else in the garden, so I took advantage of that, turning around a bit and taking this shot. Lucky second! And I’ve always loved this capture because of the way the light makes his hair shine, plus the random crumbs of snow on his whiskers… but especially because of the sweet look in his eyes! What do you think?
