Many thanks to our amazing artist, Resa McConahy, who's gift of art captures the soul of her subjects.

Born in Yonkers, New York, Steven Tyler began playing drums at a young age, eventually switching to vocals after being inspired by bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Yardbirds.
He moved to Boston in the late 1960s and met the musicians who would form Aerosmith, including guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton.
Aerosmith's debut album, "Aerosmith," was released in 1973, but it was their albums "Toys in the Attic" (1975) and "Rocks" (1976) that catapulted them into mainstream success.
Aerosmith's Rise to Fame:
Aerosmith gained recognition for their hard rock sound, blending blues and heavy metal influences.
Tyler's flamboyant stage presence, including his colorful outfits and signature scarves, became a trademark of their performances.
The band achieved massive success with hits like "Dream On," "Walk This Way," "Love in an Elevator," and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing".
Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

On a side note, I met Steven Tyler in 2004 when he served as Grand Marshal for Toys For Tots motorcycle run in Sunrise, Florida. I had the tremendous fun of riding up front with him to Markham Park. Thousands of people gathered alongside the highways and over-passes to see the massive bike run. At the Park he joined other rockers on a small stage and they rocked the place! Toys for Tots is an annual bike run intended to collect toys for Christmas for underprivileged children. A generous act of kindness by Tyler and Aerosmith (and company). I’ve included a video of that at the bottom.
