«A House Built On Lies» by Bianca Alina
Every time I see you desperately trying to save this house built on lies,
I feel a wave of sickness wash over me. You are so engulfed in your fantasies of controlling everything and everyone that you didn’t even notice when all its walls began to crumble.
So please spare me your smiles.
Don’t speak about “our joyful moments.” The woman who once loved you perished long ago,
Crushed beneath the weight of your uncaring words,
Drowned in the dark waters of fear.
The woman standing in front of you is a fearless warrior.
She survived your unbridled cruelty, and she is fully aware of your true nature.
You can’t deceive her with sweet words;
You can’t intimidate her with your Jekyll-and-Hyde games.
She has broken the chains of your toxic love.
Her soul is finally free.
