Distance by Karlyn Grace
I can only marvel at your beauty, in distance. Unreachable enough to see me behind, blank stares kept at distance. Struck by painful reality that someday you’ll find your world in someone else’s glance; your life changed forever, «us» just an unfortunate circumstance.
The love I know unfair and bitter. Reality taught me I should know better. Unrequited when it feels true and pure. Rejected, unembraced, and loathed. Since then, I came up to a conclusion that my feeling for you shall remain only to me and be kept at distance.
