Because I told you are important

Because I told you I like you

I only met you for few days
But It feels that my soul knew you all along
You inspire me to write more poems
You make me the happiest person

Distance might be our enemy today
But I know this distance will be worth it
Time is my companion everyday
Waiting for you to wake up before I fall asleep

You are my dearest
You are my the one
The only person I want to sleep with
And the first person to see when I wake up

For now, I will pray for your safety
I will wait for your return
I will write you letters
And I will love you for always

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Jake currently resides in Parañaque, a vibrant city within Metro Manila. She has also spent time in Hong Kong and Bukidnon, where she balanced her daily job with her writing, drawing inspiration from her diverse experiences.
