Logical thoughts lead to uncertain conclusions,
and those conclusions don’t give comfort,
instead they form black clouds
on days when the sky is so, so blue…
Fearing nothing but the loss of sanity,
a wonderer seeks another bottle of rum
to share with a sailor who befriended him
somewhere,
and telling his stories he goes on and on…
There’s more happy days my friend,
than painful ones in this our Earth.
More flowers than dark dreams,
and much more light than what it seems,
for not too many hide from sunlight.
You’ll find more arms that hug, touch and caress,
than those that carry firearms.
More men are willing to forgive
than to condemn,
for they are souls that dream and pray for peace
among the few that dream of war.
There’s much more love for beauty,
that’s why we search and travel far…
It may seem quite illogical,
but it’s really clear,
there is much more love
than hatred,
more hugs and kisses
than arguments and strife,
much more faith in life eternal
trusting God will bless,
and clean this earthly mess,
than faith in those with
logical demands.
