Sitting on my lap
A thin muddy road
echoes my childhood days
traveling one by one into my shady mind
pieces of fragmented memories
click back
some songs of cowherd boys
burdened with loss and hunger,
I see the rhythm of bihu dance
with the blooming wild orchid
on our smiling curly hair
under an ancient fruit bearing tree
I hear the sad tune of a lullaby
looming on the air of full moon night
