The flicker of wings spark

across the canopy of my  neural network

a dendrite forest

baited with

dandelion fluff, budding twigs

and memory feathers,

nest-ready for context

with affinity flyers

Bird soars the branching

nerve cells

scoping a woody electricity

calling her with chemical lures,

alchemical nodes of connection,

glimpses of relativity

Wings alight, claws grip

and I feel Bird settle

fast into the junction

of twigs, fluff, and feathers,

a new home

for phoenix fire
