How easy it is to get distracted these days?! Even if your intentions are clear and elevated and your focus is sharp, there is always a chance of getting out of your inner alignment and individual path to wander in the quite often superficial and pointless fields of the contemporary world. One random person, one undue advertisement, or one parallel conversation is enough to take you out of yourself and put you out there, mentally treading on outer issues that bring nothing meaningful to your life.

Whatever enters you via your senses has the potential to disturb your spheres and therefore your life. Though the things coming to you are more often than not absolutely out of your control, you can always let them be and keep your focus within and on what has personal resonance and meaning. Without your attention, that which comes along has no ground to grow in your personal fields. Placing emphasis on it is to allow it in you.

Many things will also come to you synchronistically—meaningfully related to your current life experience, though without an obvious causal connection. They feel encouraging and reassuring, not disturbing and draining. Being able to discern what’s truly relevant and may contribute positively to your personal journey and what’s there just to distract you from your path is a great personal asset. A very useful skill, especially now that the world has become jam-packed with distractions. Being less prone to external interferences that come to take you out of yourself and drain your energy is the way of the masters. Imagine facing a situation that is not part of your personal world or path, having not even one small thought ripple in the lake of your mind… That’s mastery! And you are the master in essence, here in physical reality to reclaim and express your intrinsic mastery by means of your human condition. Then, get the most out of it!

I think this is an important skill to master or else we lose our direction in life.
