So many things in the contemporary world have the power to take you out of yourself, distracting you from your inner truth and potential. The more you go out, the farther you are from your essential core. Out of your innerness, you are less you, more unconscious of what’s real, within and without, and more vulnerable to trouble. Hence, it’s important to check what you are giving your attention to throughout your day. More presence and inner groundness are needed in order to keep your center. An inner-centered state brings you not only close to who you truly are but also makes you less prone to the pulls and pushes of the world. A world that, these days, abounds in outer distractions and where the reminders for inwardness and genuineness are scarce.
Being aware that not all outer situations are worth your attention helps. And, of course, that not all outer circumstances are distractions is of value too. Some scenarios that are sacred in nature, such as the natural world or holy places, may assist you in forging and keeping your inner connection. They help bring you back home, to yourself, to your innate sacredness.
Connected to your innermost core—which consists of your everlasting essence and where your power always resides regardless of the outer circumstances—you are more you, whole in your wholeness. And your wholeness includes stability and peace. It naturally embraces love and bliss. And it’s inherently full of wisdom and harmony. A priceless sacred integrality that is part of your eternal existence and therefore of your earthly experience if you hold your inner centeredness!
