What Do Readers Say?
I’ve been a follower of K. R. Moore for many years now. His stories are always grounded narratively and have inspiring world-building.
This story shows a relatable group of friends finding themselves among the most bizarre impasses. It’s these stories that give us drive to action.
I’m glad to be a follower of indie writers, there’s a higher priority of genuine intrigue in their writing rather than pleasing some suits and ties. I believe if you enjoy nicely knit closer to home interesting stories. This one is for you!

Dark Wishes by K.R. Moore is a clever, chaotic, and darkly delightful ride through the dangers of getting exactly what you ask for. Each of the five stories blends humor, heart, and horror in surprising ways—from a cursed art party to demon disco therapy. With inventive plots, sharp wit, and just the right amount of mayhem, this collection is a genre-bending gem that leaves you questioning whether you’d ever dare make a wish yourself.

I loved this book! While Hidden Worlds tied the stories together thematically, this book has all of the shorts linking together in an overarching plot that pays off big time by the end. It definitely makes it all worth the read and checking for the easter eggs hidden in between the lines.
Out of all the stories here, my favorites were «Art Block Party» and «The Man of Miracles.»
