«NIRVANA AND WASHING RECYCLED FREEZER BAGS,» by Ray Whitaker

Wondering about interconnectivity
that word of seventeen letters there
here on the grounds of context
seated on a vine covered bench

Doing the drudgery work
a universal blessing
like the old worn afghan
residing on the living room couch.

So many quiet people
concerned, standing silently
yet moving forward in dynamic lives
still wash their underwear in suds

The skid-marks will come clean
The awareness of a principal state
ensures that we intuitively know
which detergent to use.
