The Gypsy Girl at Lead by  Dr. Ratan Bhattacharjee

True love of a genuine gypsy girl is magical
and it has the unextinguished fire
that has the glow of a midday sun
I recall your lovely countenance,
your sprightly dance, and joyous song
when you are gone
Be it winter snow or summer heat,
we enjoyed our divine togetherness
each moment like the cherry blossom,
Iowa Chrysanthemum or Mississippi
Magnolia or Kashmir Carnation Rose,
all that ever bloomed in our bosom
Strong white steed with the gypsy girl
who is at the lead from dawn to dusk
She drew the chariot of our divine love
Our divine comedy with my Beatrice,
who carried the lamp of love
I know in her hand it is a gift from God above
