She is my silent prayer—
the one I never dare to say out loud,
afraid the sky might answer
with silence.

I hold her name
like a fragile candle in the wind,
flickering between
almost and never.

Some nights I let her go—
tell myself she was only
a lesson dressed as a miracle.
But hope is stubborn.
It keeps her shadow warm beside me.

She is my silent prayer,
not because I am certain,
but because I am willing
to wait in the dark
for even the smallest light.

And if tomorrow never comes,
still—
my heart will have loved her
in the quietest, bravest way it knew how.
