serenity,
what hues do I give
its fine wings,
and how do I paint its soft pulse,
the peaceful murmur it brings?
How do I draw
its sweet heart,
and where do I pour
its sweet essence
when the seed of its miracle soul
sprouts like a mystery presence?
What do I call
its deep tones,
and when can I muster
its answers
if the scent it leaves in its course
feels like a gossamer dancer?
Bio:
Nicole Sara is a bilingual poet from Romania, with a Master’s Degree in Philology and American Studies. She loves languages and performing magic with words. Nicole began by writing poems in Romanian, and in 2016 she started pairing the originals with their translation into English. She finds inspiration in the beauty and intelligence of everything around. «Rhyming Dreams», Nicole’s debut collection of poems was self-published on Amazon in 2024. Her work has also appeared in the literary magazine SpillWords Press and in “Tranquility: An Anthology of Haiku” published by Literary Revelations. She is currently preparing for publication her second poetry collection, “The Blues and the Beautiful”. A nature enthusiast, Nicole also loves exploring the outdoors and capturing images to share on her blogs and photography sites.
