This text is a book of poems but it’s beyond that. It’s a voice, a journey to-and-fro in metamorphosis. This book is separated by stages of transformation: from love and heartbreak, to finding oneself, from exploring one’s depths transcendentally, to exploring, feeling, and finding the lost voice of others, and lastly, to create stories for and about others.

He placed a Fire Lilly deep in her roots, As flames dripped down her core,
The Mage, he stole her magic deep in embrace...
The song of Himeros, her fallen notes he frayed...
Rhapsodies of fingers, She giggled heedlessly,
As He, the Goldsmith Turned her to hollow brass...

The Shallow End

Yes, she is Shallow...
The way her eyes glistens
As she lights her face with manicured pearls, As if that's the only thought that comes in and out of her door...
Yes, she is Shallow...
The way her skirt lifts up as she innocently dances,
Unaware of angry glances...

Author Biography

Camellia S was a butterfly net, but she became the wings she chased… She is a 29 year from USA. She was born in India and moved to the US when she was 10. Her mixed cultural background and experiences have shaped her pen. She expresses through words, music, and self–portrait photography.
