Are you looking for a literary magazine to submit to? Check out Soul Poetry, Prose & Arts Magazine.
From the Editor, Arvilla Fee
I started Soul Poetry, Prose & Arts Magazine to invite and encourage both new and established authors and artists to showcase their work. My motto for the magazine is “Leave your legacy.” I believe that the arts (poetry, prose, paintings, photography, music, etc.) connect us to each other in such a special way and provide avenues of communication that we otherwise might never find. Our work, our legacy, that we put out there “in print” will live long after we are gone.
I look for work that is accessible to everyone. Down-to-earth pieces that are lyrical, beautiful, healing, intriguing, and that touch the soul. While I do not publish “genre” work such as horror, fantasy, science fiction and so forth, I do look for literary work that stands out–that presents the world in a whole new way through unique metaphors, similes, and artistic expression. I don’t mind poems or prose that have a little «language,» but will not publish anything that has gratuitous / graphic language, sex, violence, political ranting, or any type of degradation toward any individual or group of people.
One of my main goals, as an editor, is to work closely with authors, give them feedback, editing suggestions, and provide acceptances or rejections in a timely manner (usually 3-5 days). I’ve been blessed to have editors in my own writing career who have helped me hone my skills, and I’d like to do the same. For more information and guidelines, see:
