Marzia Rahman is a flash fiction writer, an author, and a translator.

She has been part of the Chewers by Masticadores family since 2024.

Marzia’s books include:

  Dot And Other Flashes includes photographs by Aritra Sanyal that inspired flashes by Marizia. Her stories blur borders, connect souls.

Marzia recently co-edited a Bangla book titled “Atith Theke Adhuna” (the bio of sixty-five women writers of Bengal and Bangladesh), and an international flash fiction anthology titled “Flashlights.”

A few of Marzia’s flashes were translated into Bulgarian and published in Flashzone magazine.

She recently conducted a workshop called “Translating Flash Fiction” at BRAC University. The students were given five of her flashes to translate into Bangla.

Marzia is also a painter, and once wrote a six-word story based on one of her oil paintings. It was selected for publication, but the project was cancelled later.
