God's Sweet Love

Seeking to gain,
Gaining to seek
Shunning pain,
My eyes leak.

Living to love,
Loving to live.
God's sweet love
Encompasses us all.


Let's Stand Together

I think the world needs changing-
Something for the good.
Maybe some re-arranging,Ffor the brotherhood.

If we can stand together,
And hold each other's hand,
No matter what the weather-
This would be a better land.

Author’s Note

«Passages and Praises» is a compilation of poems and thoughts that I have been working on for several years. Many of the poems are derived from my life experiences and situations I observe on a daily basis. Some of the passages are what I think other people might feel. The praises are to our Heavenly Father, The Lord Jesus Christ, who watches over us.  I give any and all credit for this book to our Savior. Some of my favorite bible verses is John 15:5 and John 3:16.

Author’s Biography

After attending school at Turner and Leon Oklahoma, Mary Bone attended college on the G.I. Bill. and graduated in 2006 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, in Durant, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of General Studies Degree. Mary and her husband, Merl, have three grown children and are grandparents to six children. When she was twelve years old her father passed away. At this time, she started writing poetry and short stories. Mary has a number of print and online publications.
