Hint of Growth Aches the Bones
One red rose plucked from ether
signals from sirens and grackles
swift, swirling wind in your eyes
a forecast of crystalline ebb
Ticktock patterns plastered green
shaman feathers and corkscrew circles
shapes in form born of theory
first inclination of evening apples
Heard the whisper piercing vortex
tornado kissing petrol station
spinning orbit of ouroboros’ spiral
flipped to the side of finished scripts
Oaks eaten over by coiled ivy
winter cloak masking spring
a truce struck between soil and seed
burgeoning cusp, crisp in bite, edgy garden
