«An Anxious Soul in Love» by Rubia Navajas
Salty summer rain by the beach.
Soaked and drenched by my tears.
Grey skies always out of reach,
mocking my every fears.
Shivers trail my skin.
Haunted by the looming years,
always cloaked in sin.
Among the crowd, my soul blurs.
Yearning for those quiet nights.
Your steady breath, my lullaby.
A listless soul living in plights
yet whose presence you glorify.
In the salty summer rain, we dance.
This blurry soul, clears.
The plightless tune becomes a trance.
My soul with yours, stirs
