«Fly Me Somewhere» by Kristine Joy Verdeflor Scianneux
Fly me somewhere
But not on the moon
Fly me somewhere
Where we can share
All the sweet thoughts we can think of
Our childhood memories
Our long-lost love.
Fly me somewhere
Very far away
Fly me somewhere
With a mix of surprise
Where we can talk,
Catch up and make up
Laugh over pepper jack cheese and whisky.
Fly me somewhere
Where there are pillows in the sky
Fluffy colors of blue
But your view is the most pleasing to my eye.
Fly me somewhere
Anywhere, with you.
