but this time from a different place than
you usually inhabit.
Not from the ground of judgement.
Not from the excruciating angst of perfectionism.
This time spring lightly from the soil of grace -
that place of freedom
where all is well, and
you are fine.
That place of nurturance from which life springs.
Begin again.
Not from the energy of escape
nor from your built up anger
that life, like the weather,
cannot be controlled.
Rather, start from the wisdom and truth
that life will be life no matter what.
All you can do is meet it
from where you are.
So begin again.
Drop expectations and learn to trust.
Even though life cannot be predicted
or managed by your exertions,
it will support and hold you.
Get curious about this simplicity.
Even you can soften.
