I am done gorging
upon the ‘auras’ of Nephilim
… I fancy
a simpler feast
… of ‘hearts’
and ‘too-good-to-be-true’
broken promises.
It’s just ‘money’
… but, it paves the way,
to sticky nectarines,
and candle-flame evenings
… comfortable,
in the (danger) knowledge
… that we’re
simply stealing ‘honey’
from the bees
… rather than joining them.
Snap your fingers again
… and we’ll pay
the servants with a wisdom
they absolutely do not want
… but, two good deeds,
demand a counter action
… and I’m already bored
with terracotta wishes
and absentee (love) targets.
